Booking Details

We require a non-refundable booking deposit of one third of the cottage rental.

Cheques should be made payable to Mrs A. Brown and sent to Beech Farm, Wheatcroft Lane, Wheatcroft, Nr Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 5GU.

It is possible to hold a provisional booking which will be held for 7 days only. After this time, if the deposit has not been received it will be released.

When we receive your deposit we will send you a Booking Confirmation that details the booking you have made together with details of the balance required and the due date.  Instructions of how to reach the property and contact telephone numbers will be sent to you as a brochure with the confirmation of booking together with a copy of the booking terms and conditions.  No further reminders will be sent.

If your reservation is within 10 weeks of the holiday start date, full payment will be required at time of booking.

We recommend all customers take out personal travel insurance to cover any eventualities on holiday and cancellation.

Terms and Conditions

We request you send a separate and refundable security cheque for £150 when you send the final balance.  This will be held, uncashed, by us against any damage or breakages and your cheque will be returned to you by post within 7 days of the departure once the cottage has been check

Occupancy and Use

The use of the cottage, the grounds and facilities are restricted to those named at the time of booking. Due to fire legislation if any additional guests are to visit the property we must be notified prior to arrival and under no circumstances may the additional guests stay overnight, exceeding the maximum occupancy amount stated in the brochure   The owners at their absolute discretion reserve the right to refuse or revoke, without refund, any parties that may, in their opinion, be unsuitable for the cottage.

Safety

It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to supervise the safety and good conduct of children at all times whilst on the property.  We do not accept any responsibility resulting from failure to do this.  For the safety of all concerned children must not be left unaccompanied at any time whilst in the hot tub, use of the hot tub is entirely at your own risk.  The use of the hot tub is not for use of visitors.  Further information on conditions of use for spa are available within the barn. 

Breakages

We ask that you notify breakages or damages to us at the earliest opportunity, so we may have the chance to repair or replace the items for your enjoyment during the remainder of your stay and for the benefit of further guests. 

Wi-fi 

Wi-fi connection is available within the barn free of charge, usage is restricted to light use only i.e surfing and e-mails.

Arrival and Departure

Please do not arrive at your holiday cottage before 4.00pm and not later, please, than 7pm.  Please contact us to inform us of your approximate time of arrival so that we can be here to greet you.  Full instructions on how to get there will be sent to you on confirmation of your holiday. On the morning of departure, please vacate your holiday property by 10am to allow sufficient time to prepare the property and routine cleaning of spa for the next visitors. We ask that you please leave the property as you found it.
